GlossGenius gives beauty, wellness, and health businesses one system for scheduling, online booking, payments, client records, marketing, and daily business management. Professionals access the account through the official app or browser login, while clients usually book through the businessโs public booking website without signing into GlossGenius.
This is an independent guide and is not affiliated with or operated by GlossGenius.
The page you need depends on what you are trying to do. Business owners and authorized staff need the account login. Clients need the individual providerโs booking link.
What GlossGenius does
GlossGenius is business-management software designed primarily for salons, spas, medspas, and independent beauty or wellness professionals. Its tools can include appointment scheduling, a public booking site, payment processing, automated reminders, client management, reporting, inventory, marketing, payroll, and team features.
The service is not a single public directory where every customer signs into one account. Each participating business can have its own booking website, schedule, service menu, availability, policies, and staff configuration.
That structure explains a common point of confusion: the professional-facing account and the client-facing booking experience are connected, but they are not the same screen.
Clients do not normally need the business app.
Which GlossGenius page should you use?
Choose the destination based on your role.
| Your goal | Correct starting point |
|---|---|
| Manage a business account | Official GlossGenius login |
| View the professional calendar | Business account or authorized team login |
| Book a salon or spa appointment | That businessโs public booking site |
| Change account settings | App or browser account |
| Check a service outage | Official GlossGenius status page |
| Recover account access | Forgot Password on the login screen |
GlossGenius documents browser access for all subscription plans. A professional can use the web version on a computer instead of relying entirely on the mobile application.
Use the businessโs booking link first when you are a client. Skip the main login page unless you personally own, manage, or work inside a GlossGenius business account.
How to log in from a computer
Open the official GlossGenius website and select Log in, or go through the login route referenced by the companyโs support documentation. Enter the email address associated with the business account and the account password.
Once signed in, the browser interface provides access to many core management functions. The exact controls shown can differ according to the subscription, account role, business configuration, and team permissions.
Some operations remain more convenient in the app. GlossGenius support documentation identifies its browser version as a supported access method while also noting that web capabilities continue to be expanded.
A staff member may successfully log in but still be unable to change services, booking controls, payments, or team settings. That can be a permission issue rather than a broken account. For example, the current mobile path for reviewing a team memberโs role is Features > Teams > Select Team Member > Change Roles & Permissions.
Check permissions before resetting everything.
How the client booking page works
A GlossGenius booking website belongs to a particular professional or business. It can display services, available providers, open appointment times, business details, contact information, and portfolio content.
The client selects a service and an available time through that public page. GlossGenius promotes the booking experience as requiring no client app or account login.
The exact order may vary. A business with several professionals may ask the client to choose a team member, while a solo provider can send the client directly to the service and calendar selection. Deposits, card-on-file requirements, intake questions, cancellation terms, and availability are controlled by the businessโs configuration.
If no appointment times appear, it does not automatically mean GlossGenius is down. The provider may be fully booked, the selected service may have restricted availability, or the business may have temporarily closed online scheduling.
Contact the provider for appointment-specific questions. GlossGenius support cannot ordinarily decide when an independent business should open a time slot.
Setting up services that clients can book
Services must be created and made available before they can appear correctly on the booking site.
GlossGeniusโs current mobile instructions direct account holders to Settings > Services > + icon or Features > Services to add a service. Once added, the service can appear on the providerโs personal booking page.
The service entry may include details such as its name, duration, price, category, availability, and assigned team members. The options displayed depend on the business setup and plan.
Do this first: create a small test service and inspect the public booking page as a client would. Skip a large service-menu import until you know that durations, staff assignments, and booking availability behave correctly.
A service can exist inside the account yet remain difficult or impossible to book if its assigned provider has no matching availability. Service configuration and calendar availability must work together.
Customizing the online booking site
The public website can be adjusted through the accountโs website settings. GlossGenius currently documents controls for the theme, colors, cover image, service display, and other visual elements. These booking-site customization features are listed as available through both the mobile app and web browser, provided the user has permission to manage booking and payment details.
Visual design matters, but booking accuracy comes first.
Confirm that services, prices, durations, staff assignments, business hours, and contact information are correct before spending time on cover images and color choices. A polished site with incorrect availability creates more support work than a simple site with accurate scheduling.
Businesses can also connect booking controls to Facebook and Instagram. The documented app path begins at Settings > Booking Controls > Facebook/Instagram Booking > Connect to Facebook.
Social-platform interfaces change periodically, so the screens shown outside GlossGenius may vary by region and account type.
Fixing a GlossGenius login problem
Start with the official status page. GlossGenius tracks Account Login and Booking Site as separate components, along with other platform functions. A client-booking problem may occur while professional login remains operational, or the reverse.
When no service incident is reported, work through these checks:
- Confirm that you are on the professional login page, not a providerโs public booking website.
- Check whether the email address belongs to the intended business account.
- Try the browser and official app separately.
- Update the mobile application.
- Test a different network or browser.
- Use Forgot Password when the password is uncertain.
Avoid repeated password attempts. They rarely identify whether the problem comes from the password, email address, app, browser, account status, or service availability.
A useful diagnostic is simple: if the same credentials work in a browser but fail in the app, focus on the app version, device, and connection. If neither route works, examine password recovery and account status.
Resetting the account password
GlossGeniusโs documented recovery process begins with Forgot Password on the app or browser login screen. Enter the email address associated with the account and open the reset message sent by GlossGenius. The reset link remains valid for 24 hours, according to the current support instructions.
The link opens a screen where the user enters and confirms a new password before selecting Submit.
When already signed in through the app, the documented path is:
Features > Settings > Personal information > Reset Password.
If the email does not arrive, verify the spelling of the account email and check filtered mail folders. Request a new message after the original link expires.
Do not provide the reset email or link to anyone claiming they can restore the account manually.
GlossGenius pricing and trial details
GlossGenius currently advertises a 14-day trial. The trial starts when the account is created, and the online booking site becomes active as part of the signup process.
The official pricing information currently lists these Beauty & Wellness subscription amounts:
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual price |
| Standard | $28 per month | $288 per year |
| Gold | $56 per month | $576 per year |
| Platinum | $168 per month | $1,776 per year |
GlossGenius describes Standard as its business-essentials plan, Gold as an option for entrepreneurs and teams with advanced features, and Platinum as a higher-level plan for larger or scaling teams.
Annual billing lowers the effective monthly cost, but the annual charge is paid according to the billing terms shown at checkout. Available packages may differ for medspa or other business categories.
Verify live pricing before subscribing. Plan names, included features, discounts, and rates can change.
Payment processing fees
The main GlossGenius pricing page currently promotes payment processing at a flat 2.6% rate.
GlossGenius also documents a configurable payment-fee arrangement. Under the listed options, the business may pay the 2.6% processing fee with no client convenience fee, pay 1% while the client is charged 2.5%, or pay 0% while the client is charged a 3.5% convenience fee. Availability and legal treatment can vary by jurisdiction, transaction type, and business configuration.
Review the client-facing total before enabling any fee setting. Skip assumptions based on the advertised base rate alone because the selected configuration can change what the business or client pays.
Payment processing is a financial service, so account verification, transaction reviews, bank processing, and applicable card-network rules can affect payment availability.
When to contact support
GlossGenius lists support availability from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday.
The official support article currently lists calling or texting 1-888-979-7864 as contact methods. Message and data charges may apply when texting.
Contact support when:
- Password recovery does not reach the known account email
- The account appears disabled despite successful billing
- A platform component reports normal operation but remains unavailable
- A payment or subscription charge cannot be explained from the account
- The account owner cannot correct team permissions
- Business data appears under the wrong account
State whether the problem occurs in the app, browser, or both. Include the approximate time and the name of the affected feature, but do not send private credentials or payment details through public channels.
Frequently asked questions
Is GlossGenius for clients or business owners?
Both, but in different ways. Business owners and authorized staff use the management platform. Clients interact mainly with the individual businessโs public booking website.
Do clients need to download the app?
No.
Can I log in to GlossGenius on a laptop?
Yes. The official web version supports browser access on a computer for all subscription plans.
Why can I log in but not edit the business?
Your team role may not include the needed permissions. Ask the account owner to review your assigned role and access settings rather than sharing the ownerโs credentials.
Why is a service missing from the booking page?
The service may not be fully configured, assigned to an available provider, or exposed through the booking setup. Review the service entry and then inspect the public page outside the logged-in account.
Does GlossGenius have a permanent free version?
The official pages advertise a 14-day trial followed by paid subscriptions. They do not currently list a permanent free plan.
Is the booking site down when login still works?
It can be. GlossGenius tracks the booking site and account login independently on its status page, so one component may have a problem while another continues to operate.
Should I create a new account when password recovery fails?
Not immediately. Creating another account can separate the business from its existing calendar, booking site, services, staff configuration, and records. Confirm the account email and contact official support first.
